Venkat Prabhu, who himself is old of just four films to Tamil industry, is proud of his assistant proving them to be successful directors, after parting from him. As Cinejocks reported viewers earlier, Ranjith, a favorite assistant of Venkat Prabhu has recently wielded the megaphone for a period flick titled Attakathi. Venkat Prabhu is all happy for Ranjith, as prestigious KE Gnanvelraja of Studio Greens banner has taken over the distribution rights of Attakathi.
There can’t be more for a director, who helped his assistant make their place in the industry. On this Venkat Prabhu says, “I use to wonder while Vetrimaaran’s assistants use to launch their movies as individual filmmakers and now I feel proud and it’s a big feeling, while your assistant make films in their own direction.”
