Just recently it was reported that the talented director Venkat Prabhu is gearing up with a new project and this has been titled as Biryani. The film has the talented Karthi as the hero. Now, it is heard that the leading lady has been finalized and she is none other than the lovely smile beauty Samantha. The film also has Premgi Amaren doing an important role of Karthi's best buddy. The film is scheduled to hit the floors in August and the music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The camera department is handled by Sakthi Saravanan and editing is by Praveen.
