Biriyani is the upcoming venture featuring Karthi as the protagonist. The logo of the movie was recently unveiled by the makers. Venkat Prabhu is set to start wielding the megaphone for Biriyani and roped in Richa Gangopadhayay to play the female lead for Karthi. Director is keen to have Diana Penty of Cocktail fame for an important role and the talks are on with the actress. However nothing is finalized yet.
Makers of Biriyani are gearing up to start the shooting from August and have revealed the logo of the movie recently, which look like a sign post on road side. Venkat Prabhu is one again joining hands with his associates Vasuki Bhaskar [costumes], Yuvan Shankar Raja [music], Praveen and Srikanth [editors] and Sakthi Saravanan [cinematographer] for Biriyani, while Biriyani also marks the 100th film of Yuvan Shankar Raja.
