Director Mani Ratnam shot Kadal in record time

Ace director Mani Ratnam is busy with his forthcoming movie Kadal that features Gautham and Thulasi in the lead roles, which is no more a news. Latest we hear is Kadal has done with most of its shooting schedules and undergoing studio works so soon. Sources close to Kadal team says, “Mani Ratnam has completed shooting of Kadal in record time that is set around the lives of fisherman. Most parts of Kadal are shot in South Tamil Nadu and Andaman. Mani is back to Chennai to take care of post-production works that are being done simultaneously.”

Lead actors Gautham, son of Kathik and Thulasi, younger daughter of Radha Nair are debuting in to film industry with Kadal that also casts Arjun, Lakshmi Mnchu and Aravind Swamy in the pivotal roles. AR Rahman is scoring music and background for Kadal for the lyrics penned by Viramuthu under the Madras Talkies banner.

Music album of Kadal is expected to release soon, as the movie is undergoing post-production works….
